WHAT I WANT NOW...A FURRY CHEST!

WARNING: IF YOU "PUMP YOUR FIST" FOR PETA
THIS IS NOT A POST YOU WANT TO READ!

PETA would hate a girl like me but I must admit that whenever I watch National Geographic the fox, leopard, chinchilla and mink always bring a tear to my eye. Not because some of them are becoming extinct, but because of their beautiful pelts! I am enamored both by their beauty and the way they will look on my hanger! Sorry guys but I feel the exact same way about aligator, crocodile and snake. Don't hate me because they're beautiful!

When I saw this vest on Kim Kardashian (from this website)  I nearly fell over!
I literally DIE for this vest!
Ok we know all know how expensive real fur is....unless you go to a cool vintage spot (which I will visit in the upcoming weeks), so here are some lower priced options we all can appreciate!

Happy Hunting:)

WHEN BURBERRY COATS JUST, "FALL OFF A TRUCK!"

So, Saturday after seeing, "For Colored Girls;" which is good, you should see it if you haven't, my friend and I found ourselves in a precarious situation. There was a man...well, 3 men actually selling Burberry, London Fog and a bunch of other name brand trench coats.

The scene looks really tame compared to what was really going on around the corner. My friend and I followed the guy to his van so we could get 1st dibs on the good stuff. The real madness was around the corner where there were 3 other racks and hordes of people. (I didn't take any pictures of the madness lest I risk being found out)!

"Get your Burberry Trench Coats for $20!! Just $20!! If you're broke, just go to the atm across the street!" Who could resist that!!!!? Who?

Anyway, it was a madhouse. There were people scattered all over Union Square pawing at those damn trench coats. I had my knife out...cuz I'll be damned if anyone put their hands on MY trench coat. By the way, I bought 2; one London Fog and the other...some random brand. But, they were $20. And he was right, I was broke and had to go to the atm across the street!

My friend and I had to buy coats and literally run around the corner with our 'new purchases' before the cops found out about the shananegians going on and either arrested us (and a slew of others) or confiscated our goods; both of which would have been equally bad:(

But alas! I have my goods! What do you think!!??

Fabulous at any age!

Not too long ago I spotted this very stylish lady on Madison Ave and 74th street. What struck me is how she looked incredibly fashion forward but still remained age appropriate. Now here's a lady who expresses her sense of style without compromise. It goes to show that no matter what age you are you can look fabulous!

Halloween!

I may have sent this out a little late but I couldn't let one more day pass before letting you in one of the biggest parades in NYC; the annual Halloween Day Parade!

I'm the guy from Reno 911!

There were literally thousands of people in the streets. Quasi dangerous!

Pretty much one of the best costumes of the whole night!! Even Charlie Sheen joined in on the fun!

Me and my friend Katie patrolling the streets of NYC!

Did I mention it was 35 degrees?! Halloween insanity!

Luckily these guys had permits for their costumes!

An extremely imaginative costume. Yes, she kept her arm like that for the enitre night! Ugh, what people do for this parade.

Hope you had a great halloween!!
