GOLDEN GLOBES 2011

WHO'S THE PRETTIEST OF THEM ALL?

Golden Globes 2011 was absolutely FANTASTIC! I honestly expected a fashion disaster, a la 2010 but I was pleasantly surprised at the forethought and time put into making this event magical and memorable.

Of course there were a few train wrecks, ie Helena Bonham Carter (aka"Queen of Hearts" in Alice in Wonderland) and the yawn provoking Guiliana Rancic's black strapless dress. What the heck was she thinking? Normally she wears a friggin Mexican quincenera Jr. prom dress and now this?  #1  It's a bit severe on her painfully thin frame and looks slightly ridiculous in 85 degree weather. #2 The detail on the dress was rendered invisible on camera so why even bother wearing it? 

On a lighter note peach, pink, beige and cream dominated the red carpet along with sequins, embellished bead work, glitter and whatever extraterrestrial-esque, futuristic beautifulness Anne Hathaway wore! With that being said, here are the best and worst of the Golden Globes 2011!

Melissa play Mark Walberg's trashy ghetto mother in the movie, "The Fighter." In this dress she is worlds away from 3 packs of cigarettes a day and wearing house slippers in the street. What a difference a day makes.

Although this dress looks a little like dyed paper mache' I love the shape, color and detail. A+
