Bump, Bump, Bump, Bump it up!

I just bought a set of Bumpits! For those of you that haven’t heard Bumpits are volumizing hair inserts that are supposed to give you a star quality coif. I have tried many a time to create a “bump” but my hair is fine so creating one takes a lot of concentration, Aqua Net, a mask (to survive the fumes), a teasing comb and rubber gloves (to protect my hands from permanently sticking together from the Aqua Net). If you still have no idea what a Bumpit is, think of an old school hair comb with a banana clip twist…minus the clip.

Each order comes with a set of two large and two mini Bumpits. You can choose between light blonde, dark blonde, brunette or black clips. But BEWARE, during checkout they will try to get you to buy a gabillion other things like an extra set of Bumpits a Hollywood Bumpit, Strap Perfect Bra Straps, Wedding Strap Perfect Bra Straps and a video that explains how to use the Bumpit (yes they charge for this. No, I did not buy it. Yes, I will find a tutorial on YouTube). TAKE YOUR TIME DURING CHECKOUT BECAUSE YOU WILL GET ROBBED. Anyway, the order will arrive in 2-6 weeks and will cost about $32 (including s&h and tax). They don’t offer an express delivery option so you’ll have to wait a while to receive your package… or attempt to get creative with hot glue, banana clips, a hair comb, a really strong nail file, Aqua Net, face mask, rubber gloves and teasing comb.

Lip Stain Stayin'?

Has anyone tried Covergirl Outlast Lip Stain? I saw a video advertisment earlier today and according to the Covergirl website, the lipstain got 5 stars for staying power, color selection and affordability. The only consistent complaint I saw was that the product dried up in the tube after a few days. Here are the shades available: Everbloom Kiss, Plum Pout, Bit of Blossom, Coy Coral, Berry Smooch, Wild Berry Wink, Teasing Blush, Flirty Nude, Sassy Mauve, Cinnamon Smile It's $7.49. I think I'll try it. By the way, if you would like me to review a beauty product, I'll buy it and try it so you don't have to.
