Medici and Metallica
A few days ago, on the way to visit a friend for coffee I stopped by Medici shoe store on 23rd street between 5th and Broadway. I was already running late (as usual) but I couldn’t help doing a double-take when I saw these gorgeous, biker chick, peep toe, lace-up boots!
Lace up boots $139.00Normally the biker look isn’t ‘my thing’ but this shoe just made me change my mind. I HAD to get a closer look. My better half said, “Zayna, please keep walking you have no business entering that store.” My lower mind said, go in, have a look around. You’re already late. If you’re gonna fail, fail BIG!"
If I had it my way I’d have marched right into that store and bought the shoes on the spot but being that I had zero time to waste and even less money, I walked in, met the shoe, held it close to my face and promised I'd return at a time when it would be mutually convenient for the both of us.

That was last week. I have yet to return. I’m afraid what our relationship might turn into if I go back. I can’t afford to "become intimate." I just don’t have the money!

I am seriously considering buying these boots. If I do decide to buy them I’d wear it with the following:

Charlotte Ronson Vest $69 American Apparrell Dress $30
Talking about biker chic has anyone seen Charlotte Ronson's clothing line? Its all lace, leather, buckles and zippers with feminine and flirty accents. Its a kind of bitter/sweet surrender to the gender divide! I’m mucho impressed. I LOVE HER LINE! Check out her website at http://www.charlotteronson.com/collections/spring09.php.
